"We're doing another version in a couple of weeks on DVD," said co-creator Ryan Murphy at a recent press conference for the film. "Jane will be on that. We'll do it that way."
The movie, set to arrive in theatres Aug. 12 for two weeks only, features the New Directions and the Warblers uniting and traveling the world in the “Glee” concert tour.
The "Glee: 3D" movie trailer featured Lynch's character, Sue Sylvester, advising fans, "Please, save your money. This thing sucks." The actress also appeared on video at all the tour stops and made a live appearance at the concert that was filmed for the movie.
The summer tour featured Lea Michele (Rachel), Cory Monteith (Finn), Amber Riley (Mercedes), Chris Colfer (Kurt), Kevin McHale (Artie), Jenna Ushkowitz (Tina), Mark Salling (Puck), Dianna Agron (Quinn), Naya Rivera (Santana), Heather Morris (Brittany), Harry Shum, Jr. (Mike), Chord Overstreet (Sam) and Darren Criss (Blaine).
