Directed by Martin Charnin with music direction by Keith Levenson, the limited engagement will play five performances Feb. 15-17 at The York Theatre Company at Saint Peter’s.

Additional casting will be announced shortly.

Two By Two features a book by Peter Stone, lyrics by Charnin and music by Richard Rodgers.

"The story of Noah and the Ark is a musical adaptation of Clifford Odets' play The Flowering Peach and is retold with Noah and his family characterized in modern Jewish vernacular," according to the York. "It seems that the building of the ark was only the first of Noah's many daunting challenges in a journey that wasn't always smooth sailing. By turns inspirational and hilarious, it's good fun from The Good Book and when the land has dried, man and beast alike are invited to go forth and prosper in a bright New World."

Lyricist Charnin directs the production with a revised book by the late Stone. Jason Alexander is best known for his award–winning stint as George Costanza on the hit TV series “Seinfeld.” On Broadway, he starred in the original companies of Merrily We Roll Along; The Rink; Broadway Bound; Accomplice; and Jerome Robbins’ Broadway, for which he won the Tony, Outer Critics, and Drama Desk Awards as Best Actor in a Musical. He is the artistic director of the Reprise Theatre Company in L.A. Alexander also starred in the L.A. production of The Producers with Martin Short. He just completed directing the world premiere of a new stage revue, When You’re In Love, The Whole World is Jewish.
