Jason Danieley has boarded the Broadway-bound musical adaptation of Pretty Woman. The stage favorite will take on the role of Philip Stuckey (played on screen in the 1990 film by Jason Alexander).
He joins a cast that includes the previously announced Samantha Barks as Vivian, Tony Award winner Steve Kazee as Edward, and Tony nominee Orfeh as Kit.

The comedy marks a reunion between Danieley and director and choreographer Jerry Mitchell following the 2000 Broadway production of The Full Monty (Danieley played Malcolm MacGregor; Mitchell earned his first Tony nomination for his choreography). “Now it is a pleasure to be back at it with Jason Danieley,” Mitchell said. “All I can say is I lucked out when he said yes!”
Danieley last appeared on Broadway as Billy Flynn in Chicago; his additional credits include The Visit, Next to Normal (opposite his wife, Marin Mazzie), Curtains, and Candide.
The new play, now on Broadway via Second Stage, stars Jessica Lange, Jim Parsons, and Celia Keenan-Bolger.
Jeremy Jordan and Eva Noblezada lead the cast of the book-to-stage adaptation.
