News Jason Michael Snow, Jimmy Smagula and More Will Headline Benefit Concert for Lyndhurst High School Jimmy Smagula will host and perform in a benefit concert for Lyndhurst High School featuring numerous Broadway performers May 19 at 7 PM.

The concert, which will be held at Lyndhurst High School, will feature musical direction by Jesse Vargas. Performers include Jason Michael Snow (Book of Mormon, South Pacific), Carol Johnson (Mamma Mia!, The Full Monty), Zakiya Young (The Little Mermaid, Stick Fly), Kimilee Bryant (The Phantom of the Opera, The Pirate Queen) and Aaron Ramey (Jekyll and Hyde, Young Frankenstein, Curtains).

Smagula, who is an alumnus of Lyndhurst High School, said in a statement, "The auditorium is in great need of renovation and I am proud to be able to give back to my hometown that has given me so much. Arts education is often overlooked and I am thrilled to be able to give back."

All proceeds from the concert will go to the renovation of the Lyndhurst High School Auditorium. Once renovations are complete, it will be renamed "The Jimmy Smagula Auditorium."

Smagula has appeared on Broadway in Billy Elliot, The Little Mermaid, To Be Or Not To Be, Damn Yankees (Encores!), The Phantom of the Opera, Man of La Mancha and The Full Monty. His television credits include "Hot in Cleveland," "Grey's Anatomy," "Parks and Recreation," "The IT Factor," "The Sopranos," "Jessie," "Betty White's Off Their Rockers," "Law and Order" and "The Rosie O'Donnell Show". He has appeared in the films "The Island," "The Producers" and "Step Up 3".

Tickets are $35 and can be purchased by calling (201) 438-5683, ext. 4732. Donations can be made at the concert, and a donation of $200 will "adopt a chair" in the new auditorium with the name of the donator engraved on it.
