New York Times cultural reporter Mel Gussow will discuss the career of actor Jason Robards, Jr., with "Theatre Talk" hosts Michael Riedel, of the New York Post, and Susan Haskins on the Jan. 11 edition of the popular PBS stage-related talk show.

Robards, who died last year, starred in legendary stage productions of The Iceman Cometh, Long Day's Journey Into Night and A Moon for the Misbegotten.

Also appearing on the Jan. 11 program are actors Tony Roberts and Michele Lee. Both star in the Broadway comedy The Tale of the Allergist's Wife with Linda Lavin. The show airs Jan. 11 at midnight on Channel 13 in New York City. It will also air on Boston’s WGBH and on Cablevision’s Metro Arts Thirteen (check local listings for schedule).

"Theatre Talk" is now in its fifth season. This year, the program will be seen on Thirteen/WNET, WGBH/Boston (PBS affiliate), CCIT in Hartford, and as part of MetroArts/Thirteen on Cablevision’s Metro channels.
