News Jason Robert Brown Celebrates New CD with NYC Concerts Beginning June 27 Tony Award-winning composer Jason Robert Brown begins a week-long stint at Manhattan's Le Jazz Au Bar June 27.

Backed by the Caucasian Rhythm Kings, the Brown concerts will celebrate the release of the composer's new recording, "Wearing Someone Else's Clothes." The Sh-K-Boom CD is set to hit stores June 28 and will also be available for sale at the Manhattan concerts. Brown will perform June 27 and 29 and July 1-3 at Au Bar. Each performance will boast a special guest vocalist, including such Broadway favorites as Jessica Molaskey, Lauren Kennedy, Jenn Colella and Andrea Burns. The concerts will feature songs from the new recording as well as tunes from Songs for a New World, The Last Five Years, Parade and Brown's upcoming musicals Honeymoon in Vegas and 13!. Show time is 8 PM.

Jason Robert Brown, who was the musical director and arranger for the musical Urban Cowboy, won the Tony Award for Best Score for his Broadway debut, Parade. His two-person musical, The Last Five Years, played a brief run at Off-Broadway's Minetta Lane Theatre, and was preserved on Sh-K-Boom Records. Brown also composed the score for Songs for a New World and wrote incidental music for Fuddy Meers, Kimberly Akimbo, The Waverly Gallery and the Irish Repertory Theatre's production of Long Day's Journey Into Night.

Tickets are priced $25 for June 27 and 29 and $40 for July 1-3. Le Jazz Au Bar is located in Manhattan at 41 East 58th Street; call (212) 308-9455 for reservations.
