On May 31, the Lincoln Center Corporate Fund Media and Entertainment Council will present A Night of Country Under City Lights. The concert stars country artist, Grammy winner, and Broadway alum Jennifer Nettles at Alice Tully Hall as she is honored for her career and service geared towards the 4-H organization and the Human Rights Campagin.
Tony Award-winning composer-lyricist Jason Robert Brown will join Nettles, along with 2019 Special Tony Award recipient Michael McElroy and his Broadway Inspirational Voices. BIV celebrates 25 years this year.
Tickets include a post-performance celebration in the lobbies of Alice Tully Hall.
Nettles is a longtime fan of Brown and, last month, sang a rendition of his “It All Fades Away” at MCC’s Miscast gala. She made her Broadway debut in 2015 as Roxie Hart in the long-running Chicago.
