News Jason Robert Brown to Perform and Sign CDs at Tower Records Tony Award winner Jason Robert Brown will be on hand at Tower Records Aug. 17 to perform songs from his new CD, "Wearing Someone Else's Clothes."

Brown will make an in-store appearance at the Lincoln Center Tower Records at 6 PM. The composer is expected to offer a few tunes from his new recording and will also autograph copies of the disc, which was recently released on the Sh-K-Boom Records label. The single CD, "Wearing Someone Else's Clothes," features Brown on lead vocals, backed by the Caucasian Rhythm Kings. Track titles include "Someone Else's Clothes," "Long Long Road," "Someone to Fall Back On," "Getting Out," "Over," "Music of Heaven," "Nothing in Common," "I Could Be in Love with Someone Like You," "I'm in Bizness," "Coming Together" and "Grow Old With Me."

Jason Robert Brown, who was the musical director and arranger for the musical Urban Cowboy, won the Tony Award for Best Score for his Broadway debut, Parade. His two-person musical, The Last Five Years, played a brief run at Off-Broadway's Minetta Lane Theatre, and was preserved on Sh-K-Boom Records. Brown also composed the score for Songs for a New World and wrote incidental music for Fuddy Meers, Kimberly Akimbo, The Waverly Gallery and the Irish Repertory Theatre's production of Long Day's Journey Into Night.
