PlayBlog Javier Bardem Will Likely Guest on "Glee" Next Season He may have missed out on playing Gudio Contini in the film version of "Nine," but it looks like Oscar winner Javier Bardem will get to sing onscreen in "Glee" next season.

According to ew.com, Bardem (“No Country for Old Men”) appears set to play a rock star who develops a friendship with wheelchair-using glee clubber Artie (Kevin McHale).

Bardem pitched the idea to “Glee” co-creator Ryan Murphy when they worked together on the upcoming film “Eat, Pray, Love.” Bardem told EW, “We’re going to rock the house. We’re going to do some heavy metal — Spanish heavy metal, which is the worst.”

This fall, “Glee” will be airing Tuesdays at 8 PM ET on FOX.
