A discussion, entitled Hamilton: From Book to Musical Sensation, will be presented December 5 at 7 PM at Temple Emanu-El's Skirball Center in Manhattan.
Author-critic-producer Scott Siegel will moderate the evening, which will feature the Pulitzer Prize-winning author of Alexander Hamilton, Ron Chernow, as well as two stars of the Broadway musical Hamilton, Brandon Victor Dixon and Javier Muñoz.
Lin-Manuel Miranda's Hamilton, which is inspired by Chernow's book, continues at the Richard Rodgers Theatre. The musical won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama and the Tony Award for Best Musical.
