News Jay Johnson Will Take His Trunkful of Friends on the Road in October Jay Johnson: The Two and Only!, the acclaimed solo show that earned solid reviews in the 2006-2007 Broadway season, will be launched on a national tour Oct. 27.

First stop for the celebration of the art of ventriloquism will be the State Theatre in Ithaca, NY.

Producer Roger Gindi announced that master ventriloquist Jay Johnson and his 11 fellow cast members Bob, Amigo, Darwin, Long John La Feat, Nethernore the bird of Death, Spaulding, Arthur Drew, Jackie and Ga Ga, and Squeaky will also make stops in Albuquerque, NM; Indianapolis and Culver, IN; Pittsburgh, PA; Crystal Lake, IL; and at the McCarter Theatre in Princeton, NJ.

Additional dates are currently being scheduled.

After an Off-Broadway run and regional engagements, Jay Johnson: The Two and Only! opened on Sept. 28, 2006, at the Helen Hayes Theatre on Broadway.

Jay Johnson: The Two and Only! was produced on Broadway by Roger Alan Gindi, Stewart F. Lane & Bonnie Comley, Dan Whitten, Herbert Goldsmith Productions, Ken Grossman, Bob & Rhonda Silver, Michael A. Jenkins/Dallas Summer Musicals, Inc. and WetRock Entertainment.
