Klaitz succeeds Mitchell Jarvis, who played his final performance as Lonny Sept. 5. Jarvis, however, will continue with the musical. Starting Sept. 13, he will take over the role of Stacee Jaxx from James Carpinello.

As previously announced, Tony Award nominee Constantine Maroulis will play his final performance as Drew in Broadway's Rock Sept. 9 before heading the national tour of the Tony-nominated musical, which launches Sept. 21 in Chicago. Joey Taranto, who made his Broadway debut in Rock of Ages, will succeed Maroulis at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre beginning Sept. 10.

The musical comedy Rock of Ages borrows rock hits of the 1980s to tell the story of showbiz lovers in L.A. The score includes "Every Rose Has Its Thorn," "I Wanna Know What Love Is," "Here I Go Again," "Don't Stop Believin'" and more.

Rock of Ages is written by Chris D'Arienzo, directed by Kristin Hanggi and choreographed by Kelly Devine.
