Classic Arts News Jazz Pianist Lady Byron Dies Lady Byron, a popular jazz pianist, died on Sunday, November 1, the web site Jazz Times reports.
Byron, considered to be a virtuoso on the Hammond B3 organ, was a fixture on the Washington DC jazz scene, playing jazz and blues standards. She also traveled all over the world performing with such jazz greats as Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holliday, and Duke Ellington.

She was involved for many years with the East Coast Jazz Festival.
