News Jekyll & Hyde in Concert Heads to Mohegan Sun in September After a successful debut at New Jersey's Lenape Regional Performing Arts Center, Jekyll & Hyde in Concert will head to the Mohegan Sun in September.

From Sept. 8-12, five performances of the concert version of Frank Wildhorn's musical will be presented at the Connecticut venue. Featuring Rob Evan in the title roles, Kate Shindle as Lucy and Lauren Kennedy as Emma, Jekyll & Hyde in Concert is backed by an eight-piece orchestra. A full symphonic version is expected by the end of the year with additional dates to be announced shortly.

Jekyll & Hyde in Concert is produced by Frank Wildhorn, Tom Lazenby and David Hart. Wildhorn, Leslie Bricusse and Gregory Boyd adapted the musical for the concert stage. With direction by Gregory Boyd, the creative team also features Jason Howland (music director), Kim Scharnberg (orchestrator) and Jeffery Osborne (sound designer).

Robert Evan, who stoodby for the characters Krolock and Abronsius in the Broadway musical Dance of the Vampires, has also appeared on Broadway in Jekyll & Hyde and Les Misérables as well as Off- Broadway's The Prince and the Pauper. He is currently starring as the demented dentist Orin in the Broadway bow of Little Shop of Horrors.

Lauren Kennedy covered the role of Daisy Hilton in the Broadway production of Side Show and also appeared in the New York companies of Sunset Boulevard and Les Misérables. She starred in The Rhythm Club and was also a part of the early incarnations of Jason Robert Brown's The Last Five Years, playing the role that would be played Off-Broadway by Sherie Rene Scott, when Kennedy crossed the Atlantic to star in the National Theatre's revival of South Pacific.

Kate Shindle earned the title of Miss America in 1998. She portrayed Sally Bowles in the Roundabout revival of Cabaret and also appeared on Broadway as Lucy in Jekyll & Hyde. She was also part of the production team and cast of the star-studded Children of Eden benefit concert. She can currently be seen on screen in the remake of "The Stepford Wives."
