News Jenkins and Rosen to Return to Joe's Pub in May 2008 Capathia Jenkins, who brought down the house nightly in Martin Short: Fame Becomes Me with "Stop the Show," will return to Joe's Pub in May 2008.

Jenkins and her frequent collaborator, Louis Rosen, will perform at the intimate nightspot May 5, 12, 18 and 19 at 7 PM. The evenings will celebrate the upcoming release of Jenkins and Rosen's new CD, "The Moon Shines Down: The Nikki Giovanni Songs." The recording, which will be available on the PS Classics label, features the words of contemporary poet Nikki Giovanni and the music of composer Rosen. Jenkins and Rosen can also be heard on "South Sides Stories" (Rosecap Records).

Capathia Jenkins made her Broadway debut in The Civil War and has also been seen on Broadway in Martin Short: Fame Becomes Me, The Look of Love and Caroline, or Change. Her other theatrical credits include Godspell, Ain't Misbehavin', Dreamgirls, Bubblin' Brown Sugar and Children of Eden. On screen Jenkins has been seen in "Corn," "Marci X," "The Practice," "Law & Order," "Law & Order: SVU," "Third Watch" and "The Sopranos."
