News Jenna Leigh Green, Colin Hanlon, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Curt Hansen Cast in NYMF's T.V. Show Theme Song Musical The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) and Janet Billing Rich and Rebecca Roffman will present staged readings of It's On! The T.V. Show Theme Song Musical July 10-11 at the Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre at the Pershing Square Signature Center.

The new musical is conceived and directed by Stan Zimmerman and written by Zimmerman ("Gilmore Girls," "Roseanne") and Christian McLaughlin ("Desperate Housewives," "Hannah Montana"). Performances will be held July 10 at 8 PM and July 11 at 4:30 PM and 8 PM.

The cast includes Jenna Leigh Green (Wicked, bare, "Sabrina the Teenage Witch"), Colin Hanlon (Rent, "Submissions Only"), Curt Hansen (Hairspray, Next to Normal), Tony Award nominee Sheryl Lee Ralph (Dreamgirls) and Mindy Sterling ("Austin Powers" trilogy) as well as a surprise guest.

It's On!, according to producers, "uses the theme songs from TV shows like 'True Blood,' 'The Brady Bunch,' 'Charles in Charge,' 'Small Wonder' and even 'Cops' to tell the story of Lucy (Green) and Charlie (Hanlon). Song writing partners since college, Lucy and Charlie finally have been given the chance to record their own theme song for a new TV show. Stay tuned to find out if Lucy and Charlie succeed with the help of session singers Whitley (Ralph) and PJ (Hansen), and PJ's overzealous mom-ager Babs (Sterling)."

Now in its ninth year, the New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF), which provides a launching pad for the next generation of musicals, is the largest annual musical theatre event in America.

The Pershing Square Signature Center is located at 480 West 42nd Street. For more information and tickets, call (212) 352-3101 or visit NYMF.org.
