Jamie Du Mont, Lucille Lortel Award winner Leslie Kritzer, writer and theatre critic Rob Russo, and Tony nominee Jennifer Simard will launch their Broadway-centric podcast, The Fabulous Invalid, September 19.

The inaugural season will consist of 40 episodes, released weekly on Wednesdays. Select episodes will be taped from the group’s “usual table” at the theatre district restaurant Orso. Guests will be announced shortly.

The four hosts plan to dig into the minds of the most creative theatre professionals. Their guests won't explain what they do, but rather why they do it.

Simard currently stars in the Broadway musical Mean Girls. Kritzer will return to the stage this season in the Broadway-bound musical version of Beetlejuice.
