Try it Like This: Directors and Choreographers Take the Stage is set for October 16 at 54 Below.

The Stage Directors and Choreographers Foundation (SDCF) has announced a slate of directors and choreographers set to perform at Try It Like This: Directors and Choreographers Take the Stage. The one-night-only fundraiser is set for October 16 at 54 Below, beginning with cocktails at 7:00 PM. 

Performers include Mark Brokaw (How I Learned to Drive), Jeff Calhoun (Newsies), Sammi Cannold (How to Dance in Ohio), JoAnn M. Hunter (Bad Cinderella), James Lapine and Sarna Lapine (Sunday in the Park with George), Jerry Mitchell (Kinky Boots), and SDC Foundation President Seema Sueko, with more to be announced.

The show will be directed by Jerry Mitchell, produced by Paige Price, and musical direction will be by Rick Hip-Flores. The scriptwriters include Sarah Saltzberg (25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee) and David Rossmer (The Griswolds' Broadway Vacation). 

Proceeds from the evening will benefit programs of SDCF, a not-for-profit foundation intended to celebrate support directors and choreographers throughout their careers. For more information or to purchase tickets, click here.
