News Jersey Boys Actor Daniel Robert Sullivan Releases Showbiz Memoir "Places, Please!" Jersey Boys actor Daniel Robert Sullivan, who played Tommy DeVito in the Toronto production of the Tony-winning musical, has released a memoir about his experience, titled "Places, Please! (Becoming A Jersey Boy)."

Released July 12, "Places, Please! (Becoming A Jersey Boy)" chronicles Sullivan's two years of auditions for the role, as well as rehearsals and his 479-performance run in Jersey Boys. According to the publisher, "'Places, Please!' documents Daniel Robert Sullivan’s transformation from a 'small-time' professional actor to one of the stars of a worldwide hit mega-musical... Daniel shares his experiences with the nuts and bolts of a life in musical theatre, from the arduous audition process to the elation of finally landing that big role. He also shares backstage secrets and the lighter side of the demanding industry."

Prior to Jersey Boys, Sullivan appeared in the national tours of The Pirates of Penzance and Jesus Christ Superstar.

The 236-page paperback book is currently available from Iguana Books.
