News Jersey Boys Musical to Return to San Francisco for Holiday Run The hit musical Jersey Boys will return to San Francisco's Curran Theatre for a special holiday run Nov. 20-Dec. 30.

Following an extended, 44-week run at the California stage — where the tour launched Dec. 1, 2006 — producers have announced the Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons musical will come back for an encore engagement. The recent run ended Sept. 30.

There are currently two touring companies performing the Tony-winning show. The return to San Francisco will mark the debut of a third company. For a list of upcoming tour stops visit jerseyboystour.com.

Des McAnuff (The Who's Tommy, Big River) directs and Sergio Trujillo choreographs the story of American pop group The Four Seasons — the highs, the lows and all in between.

Jersey Boys features music by Bob Gaudio, lyrics by Bob Crewe, and a book by Marshall Brickman & Rick Elice. The production garnered four Tony Award wins: for stars John Lloyd Young and Christian Hoff, lighting designer Howell Binkley and for the top prize Best Musical. The design team includes Klara Zieglerova (scenic), Jess Goldstein (costume), Howell Binkley (lighting), Steve Canyon Kennedy (sound), Michael Clark (projections) and Charles LaPointe (wig and hair design). Steve Orich handles orchestrations while Ron Melrose takes on music direction, vocal arrangements and incidental music.

The Jersey Boys tour is produced by Dodger Theatricals, Joseph J. Grano, Tamara and Kevin Kinsella, Pelican Group, in association with Latitude Link and Rick Steiner.
