News   Jersey Boys National Tour to Perform on "The Tonight Show" March 19
Deven May, Erich Bergen, Michael Ingersoll and Christopher Kale Jones — stars of the Jersey Boys national tour — will appear on NBC's "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" March 19.

The cast will perform a medley of songs on the late-night talk show, including "My Eyes Adored You," "Walk Like a Man" and "December, 1963 (Oh, What a Night)."

The tour launched at San Francisco's Curran Theatre (where it currently plays through April 29) and next plays an 11-week stint at Los Angeles' Ahmanson Theatre (May 25 Aug. 5). Also scheduled is a stop at Chicago's LaSalle Bank Theatre in October.

May (Bat Boy) plays Tommy DeVito, Bergen (White Christmas) takes on Bob Gaudio, Ingersoll (I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change) plays Nick Massi and Jones (Zhivago) tackles Frankie Valli.

Des McAnuff (The Who's Tommy, Big River) directs and Sergio Trujillo choreographs the story of American pop group The Four Seasons — the highs, the lows and all in between.

Jersey Boys features music by Bob Gaudio, lyrics by Bob Crewe, and a book by Marshall Brickman & Rick Elice. The production garnered four Tony Award wins for stars John Lloyd Young and Christian Hoff, lighting designer Howell Binkley and for the top prize Best Musical. The design team includes Klara Zieglerova (scenic), Jess Goldstein (costume), Howell Binkley (lighting), Steve Canyon Kennedy (sound), Michael Clark (projections) and Charles LaPointe (wig and hair design). Steve Orich handles orchestrations while Ron Melrose takes on music direction, vocal arrangements and incidental music.

The Jersey Boys tour is produced by Dodger Theatricals, Joseph J. Grano, Tamara and Kevin Kinsella, Pelican Group, in association with Latitude Link and Rick Steiner.
