News Jesse Eisenberg Will Discuss The Revisionist and More at 92nd Street Y Academy Award nominee Jesse Eisenberg, who will star in the Off-Broadway world premiere of his new play The Revisionist, will appear at the 92nd Street Y Feb. 11.

Eisenberg will sit with Fordham law professor Thane Rosenbaum for the 8:15 PM discussion. As previously reported, Eisenberg will co-star with Tony Award winner Vanessa Redgrave (Driving Miss Daisy, The Year of Magical Thinking, Long Day's Journey Into Night) and Daniel Oreskes (The Twenty-Seventh Man, Russian Transport) in the new play that begins previews Feb. 15.

Kip Fagan will direct the production that officially opens Feb. 28 for a run through March 31. Last season Eisenberg ("The Social Network") starred in his play Asuncion for the Rattlestick Playwrights Theater.

According to the Rattlestick, "In The Revisionist David (Eisenberg) arrives in Poland with a crippling case of writer's block and a desire to be left alone. His 75-year-old second cousin Maria (Redgrave) welcomes him with a fervent need to connect with her distant American family. As their tenuous relationship develops, she reveals details about her complicated post-war past that tests their ideas of what it means to be a family."

The Revisionist will have scenic design by John McDermott, costume design by Jessica Pabst, lighting design by Matt Frey, sound design by Bart Fasbender and property design by Andrew Diaz.
