News Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Heather Lind to Discuss Shakespeare in the Park May 24 Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Heather Lind, who will appear in the Shakespeare in the Park repertory productions of The Winter's Tale and The Merchant of Venice, will participate in a May 24 Shakespeare Salon at Chinatown Brassiere.

"Making Shakespeare in the Park: Onstage and Backstage" will be led by Shakespeare Initiative director Barry Edelstein. The discussion will begin at 6 PM.

In addition to "Modern Family" star Ferguson (Clown in The Winter’s Tale and Launcelot Gobbo in The Merchant of Venice) and Lind (Perdita in The Winter’s Tale and Jessica in The Merchant of Venice), the event will feature scenic designer Mark Wendland, Public Theater director of production Ruth E. Sternberg and Merchant of Venice stage manager Stephen M. Kaus.

As previously reported, Michael Greif will stage the first summer production to get underway, which will be The Winter's Tale beginning June 9. Daniel Sullivan will helm Merchant of Venice, which begins June 12. Repertory performances will run through Aug. 1. Al Pacino will star as Shylock in Merchant.
