Jessica Phillips, last on Broadway in Leap of Faith, will play the role of Heidi Hansen in the national tour of the Tony-winning musical Dear Evan Hansen. The road production of the Tony Award-winning musical will kick off in September in Denver before going on to play 50 U.S. cities.

Phillips will join the previously announced Ben Levi Ross, who will take on the title role.

Phillips has also appeared on Broadway in The Scarlet Pimpernel, Next to Normal, and Priscilla Queen of the Desert.

Ross made his Broadway debut in Dear Evan Hansen, covering the title role, Connor Murphy, and Jared Kleinman.

Dear Evan Hansen features a score by the Tony- and Oscar-winning songwriting team of Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (Dogfight, A Christmas Story), a book by Tony winner Steven Levenson (Masters of Sex), choreography by Danny Mefford (Fun Home), and direction by multiple Tony nominee Michael Greif (Rent, Next to Normal, If/Then).
