MacArthur "Genius" award winning playwright/director, John Jesurun is the focus of a series of readings, John Jesurun: Readings of Lost Works at P.S. 122 through April 13.

The series in is the process of hosting New York premieres of four Jesurun pieces previously seen only in Europe: Southern Cross, Philoktetes, Lumiere and his new screenplay, Iron Lung.

Also included in the series is Faust: Imperial Motel, Marianne Weems' Builder's Association brought their adapted version of Jesurun's Faust: Imperial Motel to New York in November under the title (Jump Cut) Faust.

Previous readings in the series included: Southern Cross (March 2). Faust: Imperial Hotel and Philoktetes (March 30- featuring long time Jesurun associate, now movie star, Steve Buscemi).

The remaining reading schedule is as follows: April 6: Iron Lung featuring Buscemi, Michael Tighe, Rebecca Moore and Oscar De La Fe Colon at P.S. 122 at 8 PM.
April 13: Lumiere featuring Mabou Mines' Ruth Malaczech (Lear, Happy Days), Black Eyed Susan (Ridiculous Theatre), David Neumann and Jean Brassard at P.S. 122 at 8 PM.
All readings are $12, and are at downtown's P.S. 122, for reservations call (212) 477-5829.
