The benefit is hosted by Sara Haines and directed by Stephen Brotebeck (Ghost, Peter and the Starcatcher), with music direction by Brian Taylor (Evita, Mary Poppins).

Featured performers include Jeff Blumenkrantz (Urban Cowboy), Caroline Bowman (Kinky Boots), Christina DeCicco (Evita, Spider-Man: Turn off the Dark), Jill Paice (Curtains, The 39 Steps), Molly Tynes (Pippin), Ryann Redmond (Bring It On) and Gregory Hainey (Bring It On).

Songs in the Key of Equality, Swish's major annual fundraiser, has been performed yearly since 2008. Swish first began in 2003 when a group of straight women wanted to make a contribution to the struggles they witnessed among their gay friends. The organization now has a diverse membership of 3,000 that includes gay and straight men and women and welcomes anyone contributing to the fight for equality.
