News Joel Briel, Anita Hollander, Jason Collins Will Sing in NYC 9/11 Tribute Concert, The Song of Job 9:11 The Song of Job 9:11, a musical oratorio that combines documentary text of the events of 9/11 and excerpts from the Old Testament's Book of Job, will be performed in various locations throughout New York City beginning Sept. 9 to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the 9/11 tragedy.

The free concerts, by composer and director Danny Ashkenasi, will continue through Sept. 16.

The Song of Job 9:11, according to press notes, "offers an eloquent and comforting way for the public to come together in shared remembrance during the upcoming 10th anniversary of 9/11."

The performance will feature lead soloists Joel Briel (Cats), Anita Hollander (Off-Broadway's Bass for Picasso), Jason Collins (Off-Broadway's Signs of Life), Mark Peters, Jacqui Sutton and Andrea Pinyan.

The company also includes Cree Carrico, Amie Bermovitz, Holland Hamilton, Rachel Green, Alexander Gonzales, Peter Bonner, Anthony Wills Jr. and Edward Elder. Howard Levitsky will accompany the singers on piano, Brooke Quiggins will play violin and Maria Jeffers will play cello.

Danny Ashkenasi and Edward Elder produce; Kelly Aliano is the production co-manager. Performance dates follow:

Sept. 9 at 8 PM: 15th Street Meeting House – 15 Rutherford Place
Sept. 10 at 2 PM: 15th Street Meeting House ‐ 15 Rutherford Place
Sept. 11 at 7 PM: Theater for the New City ‐ 155 First Avenue
Sept. 15 at 7 PM: The Children’s School, Brooklyn ‐ PS 372
Sept. 16 at 8 PM: The Village Temple – 33 East 12th Street
