News Joey Contreras and Eric Michael Krop Will Rock Rockwood With Free Night of Theatrical-Infused Pop Music Singer-songwriters Joey Contreras and Eric Michael Krop (Godspell) will offer a free night of theatre-infused pop music Jan. 19 at Rockwood Music Hall.

At the 9 PM concert, audiences can expect to hear tunes from Contreras' recent iTunes charting album "Young Kind of Love" (which features Krop on "Love Wildly") as well as new singles from Krop's upcoming EP.

They will be joined by recording artist and YouTube sensation Honey Ribar.

Contreras' original compositions and arrangements have been featured in NYC venues including Joe's Pub, Lincoln Center, (le) Poisson Rouge, the Laurie Beechman Theater, The Duplex and multiple Broadway in South Africa galas at the Manhattan Center. Contreras, the recipient of the 2010 ASCAP Foundation Max Dreyfus Scholarship Award and the first Artist in Residence for the Broadway Dreams Foundation, also wrote the music and lyrics for the musical This Thing Called Love as well as his debut album "Love Me, Love Me Not: The Music of Joey Contreras." Krop, who was seen in the Broadway revival of Godspell, is finishing his upcoming album in Los Angeles and Montana and will release a single at the end of January titled "Greater Things."
