Fatone, who also appeared in the Broadway revival of Little Shop of Horrors, will join the July production of The Producers that features the previously announced John Treacy Egan (The Little Mermaid) as Max Bialystock, Ashley Spencer as Ulla and Jim Stanek (Lestat) as Leo Bloom. Bill Burns (Dirty Dancing) will direct and choreograph the Mel Brooks musical that runs July 6-18. Tom Helm will be musical director.
The Pittsburgh CLO season will also feature Oliver! (June 1-6); Miss Saigon (June 8-20); Curtains (June 22-27); Hairspray (July 20-Aug. 1); and The Student Prince (Aug. 3-8).
