Kate Baldwin and Conor Ryan comprise the entire cast of this 1996 musical about the relationships between Jen and her brother John, and later her son and his namesake. The story spans over 50 years and is a moving portrait of family, love and connections.
The show has lyrics by Tom Greenwald, and a book by Lippa and Greenwald. Produced by Lippa and Michael Croiter, the new recording is scheduled to be released June 16 on Broadway records.
In the meantime, John & Jen continues performances through April 4 at The Clurman Theatre at Theatre Row in New York.
Lippa's musicals include The Wild Party, The Addams Family and Big Fish.
