News John Kander's The Landing, Starring David Hyde Pierce and Julia Murney, Will Begin Performances Oct. 3 The Vineyard Theatre has announced production dates for John Kander's The Landing, starring Tony and Emmy winner David Hyde Pierce and Julia Murney.

Previews of the collaboration between Kander (Cabaret, Kiss of the Spider Woman, The Scottsboro Boys) and playwright/lyricist Greg Pierce will begin Oct. 3, prior to an official opening Oct. 23. Performances will continue through Nov. 10.

The Landing will feature three mini-musicals tied together by the themes of desire, love and loss.

Directed by Walter Bobbie, the cast will also feature Paul Anthony Stewart and Frankie Seratch.

Pierce is currently starring on Broadway in Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike. His stage credits also include La Bete, Accent on Youth, Curtains and Spamalot. Murney has performed in Falling, Lennon, The Wild Party and Wicked.

Stewart's stage credits include The People in the Picture, Fiddler on the Roof and Cyrano. Tickets and more information are available by visiting vineyardtheatre.org/the-landing.
