Klown, which had originally been scheduled for a limited 12-week engagement, recently extended its run through July 10. In a March 21 statement Leguizamo said, "I love that all my peoples are showing up to witness the latest chapter of my life on stage; I want to keep this show open until I've messed up my ten-year-old son enough for him to be my understudy."

The show, according to producers, takes audiences "from [Leguizamo's] adolescent memories in Queens to the early days of his acting career during the outrageous '80s avant-garde theatre scene, and on to the sets of major motion pictures and his roles opposite some of Hollywood's biggest stars."

The production features scenic design by Happy Massee, lighting design by Jen Schriever, sound design by Peter Fitzgerald and projection design by Aaron Gonzalez. The projection consultant is Christopher Cronin, and the movement consultant is Marlyn Ortiz.

Producers are WestBeth Entertainment, Daveed D. Frazier and Nelle Nugent.

The Broadway engagement was preceded by a Chicago run. Entitled John Leguizamo Warms Up, the production played the Royal George Theater Feb. 1-12.

John Leguizamo earned Tony nominations for his solo shows Sexaholix and Freak. He has appeared in Mambo Mouth and the short-lived revival of David Mamet's American Buffalo. His film credits include "The Summer of Sam," "Moulin Rouge," "To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar" and "Romeo + Juliet."

The Lyceum Theatre is located in Manhattan at 149 W. 45th Street. Tickets, priced $29.50-$116.50, are available by visiting www.telecharge.com.
