Lithgow's seventh book for kids tells the story of a mouse who graduates from Harvard, and was delivered as part of Lithgow's commencement speech to Harvard University's class of 2005. John Lithgow was most recently on Broadway as con man Lawrence Jameson in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. His other recent theatrical credits include A.R. Gurney's political comedy Mrs. Farnsworth and Broadway's The Retreat From Moscow. Lithgow won Tony Awards for his work in The Changing Room and Sweet Smell of Success and received Tony nominations for Scoundrels, Requiem for a Heavyweight and M. Butterfly. Lithgow won three Emmy Awards for his role on "3rd Rock from the Sun" and is also known for such films as "Terms of Endearment" (Oscar nomination), "The World According to Garp" (Oscar nomination) and "Footloose."
