Titled Get Back, the Spring Awakening and "Glee" star takes the stage at 7 PM for the concert at the Five Angels Theater that draws inspiration from his childhood. Musical direction is by Mary-Mitchell Campbell.

According to the 52nd Street Project, "Revisit that time of wild imagination, dress-up, sibling rivalry and humiliating home videos – you know, childhood… It's an evening of songs and reminiscences about the Broadway/TV/film star's 'let's put on a show in the barn' past."

Groff, who received a Tony nomination for his performance as radical teenager Melchior Gabor in Spring Awakening, was also seen on Broadway in In My Life. He most recently appeared on the New York stage in The Submission and played the character of Jesse St. James on "Glee." His upcoming screen appearances include the HBO series "Looking" and the film of Larry Kramer's The Normal Heart. He will also be part of the 2014 American Songbook Series at the Allen Room.

Founded by A Year With Frog and Toad co-writer Willie Reale in response to a deepening need to improve the quality of life for the kids of Hell’s Kitchen, the 52nd Street Project is dedicated to the creation and production of new plays for, and often by, kids between the ages of nine and eighteen that reside in the Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood in New York City. The Project does this through a series of unique mentoring programs that match kids with professional theatre artists.
