Film & TV News Jordan Fisher to Star in To All the Boys I've Loved Before Sequel The actor, recently seen in the TV production of Rent, will star as John Ambrose McClaren, another recipient of one of Lara's love letters.

Jordan Fisher, who played Mark in the recent TV mounting of Rent, has been cast as John Ambrose McClaren in Netflix's upcoming To All the Boys I've Loved Before sequel. Fisher posted the announcement on his social media.

To All The Boys I've Loved Before, based on the 2014 book by Jenny Han, follows Lara Jean (Lana Condor) as she navigates the aftermath of having her teen love letters exposed. One of the letters, to Peter (played by Noah Centineo), results in a happy ending. But just as things are shaping up well for Lara and Peter, John shows up, and he also has a letter.

The character of John was played by Jordan Burtchett in the first film.

To All the Boys I've Loved Before 2 is set for release in 2020.

Fisher has been seen on Broadway in Hamilton, in which he played Philip and John Laurens. On screen, he has appeared in She-Ra and the Princess of Power, Liv and Maddie, Grease Live!, Teen Wolf, and The Secret Life of the American Teenager.
