An official opening is set for Jan. 26, with the show's run scheduled through Feb. 13.

Scott Zigler directs a cast featuring Jordan Lage and Ray Anthony Thomas, who both appeared in Race on Broadway. Lage (PTC's Love! Valour! Compassion!; Broadway's Speed-the-Plow and Glengarry Glenn Ross) and Thomas (Arden Theatre Company's Fences) are joined by Nicole Lewis (Broadway's Hair and Rent) and John Preston.

According to PTC notes, "Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright and Tony nominee David Mamet tackles the biggest four-letter word of all: race! Two lawyers, one black, one white, are offered the chance to defend a wealthy executive charged with a shocking crime against a young black woman. When a new legal assistant gets involved, emotions bubbling just beneath the surface explode!"

A special moderated discussion covering the play's relevance, particularly to Philadelphia, will be held Jan. 31 at 7 PM. PTC will co-sponsor the discussion with WHYY, The Penn Project for Civic Engagement and New CORE.

Philadelphia Theatre Company is located at Broad and Lombard Streets in Philadelphia. For tickets, call (215) 985-0420 or visit philadelphiatheatrecompany.org.
