Joel Ferrell directs and choreographs the Andrew Lloyd Webber-Tim Rice musical that runs through Aug. 5. Joseph... will officially open June 29 in the Wyly Theatre.

Mikel plays the Narrator opposite Harcourt (The Wiz) as Joseph and Chamblee Ferguson (Tigers Be Still, The Tempest) as Jacob, Potiphar and Pharaoh.

The principal cast also features Josh A. Dawson as Zebulon, Jeremy Dumont as Gad, Jacob Gutierrez as Dan, Rashan James II as Naphthali, JP Moraga as Levi, Bob Reed as Reuben, Jamard Richardson as Judah, Alex Ross as Issachar, Michael Anthony Sylvester as Asher, Liam Taylor as Benjamin, Ben Villaseñor as Benjamin, Kent Zimmerman as Simeon and Christie Vela as Jacob's wife and Potiphar's wife.

The wives include Tiffany Hobbs, Kayla Grizzard, Shannon Hucker and Tiffany Mann.

Completing the cast are Alyssa Franks, Chavis Humphrey, Tanner Murray, Ruby Westfall, Chris Adkins, Tatiana Angustia, Madie Buckles Kaitlyn Cedillo, Maya Cravy, Avery Davis, Elizabeth Drake, Jace Duncan, John Franklin, Victoria Gilchrist, Caleb Glaspie, Colby Glaspie, Kennedy Gray, Christopher Hernandez, Nathan May, Patricia Meza, Lily McCollum, Manon McCollum, Ainsley Neitzel, Madeleine Norton, Jonah Ortiz, Mora Elena Pharr, Tru Ramsey, Michelle Raybourn, Paloma Renteria, Soleil Singh, Will Singleton, Zeth Silvas, Senna Tomizuka, Phoebe Westbrooks and Stuart Williams. The design team includes Eugene Gwozdz (musical director), Wade Laboissonniere (costume designer), Bob Lavallee (scenic designer), Tony Award winner Jeff Croiter (lighting designer), Charles Parsley III (sound designer) and Cookie Jordan (wig and make-up designer).

The biblical vaudeville Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat has a score by Lloyd Webber with lyrics by Rice. The production premiered on Broadway in 1982 at the Royale Theatre starring Bill Hutton and Laurie Beechman. A 1993 revival featured Michael Damian and Kelli Rabke.
