News Joy Bryant, Michael Ealy, Kevin Hart, Regina Hall Will Star in Film Adaptation of Mamet's Sexual Perversity in Chicago Joy Bryant, who stars in the NBC series "Parenthood," has been cast in the upcoming film based on the David Mamet play Sexual Perversity in Chicago, according to Deadline.com.

Steve Pink will direct the currently untitled project, which is adapted by Leslye Headland ("Bachelorette") and sets the film in Los Angeles instead of Chicago.

Bryant will join Michael Ealy ("Seven Pounds"), Kevin Hart ("Think Like a Man") and Regina Hall ("Scary Movie") in the film, which is scheduled to begin production Sept. 17. Will Gluck and Will Packer are producers.

Mamet's Sexual Perversity in Chicago examines the sex lives of two men and two women in the 1970s. The play was first produced at Goddard College in Plainfield, VT, by the members of St. Nicholas Theater and directed by Mamet. An Off-Broadway production of Sexual Perversity opened in January 2000 at the Atlantic Theatre Company. In 1986, the play was adapted into a film starring Demi Moore entitled "About Last Night…"
