Tony Award-winning actor John Rubinstein (Children of a Lesser God) directs a cast that also includes Megan Austin Oberle, Kirsten Potter, Samantha Robson, Carolyn Seymour, Kate Steele and Missy Yager. The work, which plays as part of the radio theatre series, "The Play’s The Thing," featuring live performances at the Skirball Cultural Center, will be recorded for future radio broadcast. Top Girls follows a woman who rises to the top of the workplace ladder "only to discover that life above the glass ceiling isn't all it's cracked up to be," as a release describes. "The play famously opens with a dreamlike sequence of Marlene chatting up famous women in history, who proceed to get drunk and explain why it's tough to be a woman in a man's world."

The 31st season at L.A.T.W. continues with Arms and the Man (Feb. 1-5), The Great Tennessee Monkey Trial (March 1-5), Romance (April 5-9), Fired Again (May 3-7), The Real Dr. Strangelove (June 7-11) and another work to be announced (July 12-16).

L.A.T.W.'s nationally syndicated radio show "The Play's The Thing" series is performed live at the Skirball Cultural Center. All performances are recorded for future broadcast to cities including Boston, Seattle, Santa Fe as well as on XM Satellite radio. The two-hour radio broadcasts include special backstage features and interviews with actors, playwrights and directors. The L.A. Theatre Works Audio Theatre Collection is available in bookstores, libraries, through their catalog, digitally on audible.com and on the L.A. Theatre Works website.
