Tony Award winner Judy Kaye (The Phantom of the Opera), Lauren Worsham, Stephanie Blythe, Josh Breitzer, John Brancy and Joshua Jeremiah are featured vocalists. The concerts also feature Alan Kay on clarinet and Steven Blier on piano. Following the concert will be a meet-and-greet wine reception with the artists.

The concert is NYFOS' first-ever Christmas show that features classic and comic holiday songs entirely written by Jewish composers. In A Goyishe Christmas to You!, according to press notes, "A stunning caliber of singers will perform such staples as 'Winter Wonderland' and 'Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.' From Frank Loesser’s 'Baby It’s Cold Outside' to Adolphe Adam’s 'Oh Holy Night,' Jule Styne and Sammy Cahn’s 'Let it Snow' to Walter Kent’s 'I’ll Be Home For Christmas,' the popular Yuletide songbook is humorously and joyously packed with countless contributions by Jewish songwriters on behalf of their gentile counterparts."

A Modern Person's Guide to Hooking Up and Breaking Up will be the next in the five-program series and is scheduled for Feb. 14 and 16, 2012, at 8 PM. The performances will feature Anne-Carolyn Bird, Liza Forrester, Alex Mansoori and Jesse Blumberg, with Blier on piano. The show is described as a "quirky survey of the awkwardness, pain, lust and perversity of contemporary relationships."

Concluding the series is New York to Paris, Paris to Paradise, held March 11 at 4 PM in the Music Room at Rosen House in Katonah, NY; and March 13 at 8 PM in the Merkin Concert Hall. The concerts feature members of Caramoor’s 2012 Vocal Rising Stars program.

Also offered at NYFOS is NYFOS Next, an evening hosted by Russell Platt, April 24. The New York Festival of Song, now in its 24th season, creates intimate concerts that breathe new life into an art form that is rich and emotionally resonant, yet is too often treated as genteel, intellectual and predictable.
