This year, the National Corporate Theatre Fund's annual Theatre Professional Award will go to Jujamcyn Theatres. Jujamcyn both produces shows and owns such houses as the Martin Beck, Walter Kerr and Eugene O'Neill Theaters.

Jujamcyn president Rocco Landesman will accept the May 17 award on behalf of the organization.

Receiving the "Corporate Award" will be Seagram's Vice President of Corporate Communications & Public Relations, Raymond A. Boyce. Boyce is former chairman of the NCTF and is still an active member of the board.

According to NCTF executive director Tamara Rimes, the annual "Artist Award" will go to Stockard Channing currently on Broadway in The Lion in Winter. The two previous Artist Award winners were Wendy Wasserstein (1998) and Hal Holbrook (1997).

The May 17 event, at NY's Waldorf Astoria, will be hosted by Ed Asner, best known for TV's "Mary Tyler Moore Show" and "Lou Grant," as well as his recent Broadway turn in a Born Yesterday revival opposite Madeline Kahn. Theatres comprising the National Corporate Theatre Fund include KY's Actors Theatre of Louisville, CA's American Conservatory Theater, MA's ART, OH's Cleveland Play House, IL's Goodman Theatre, MN's Guthrie Theatre, CT's Long Wharf Theatre, CA's Old Globe Theater, WA's Seattle Rep and RI's Trinity Rep. Founded in 1978, the fund helps non-profit theater executives raise contributions and investments.
