The music of Jason Robert Brown, Sam Davis, Zina Goldrich, Stephen Hoffman, Andrew Lippa, Paul Loesel, Steve Marzullo and Georgia Stitt will be heard. This is the third concert by New Voices, curated by Joel Fram, himself a musical director and composer. The sold-out performance is at 8 PM at the Leonard Nimoy Thalia, the intimate, 150-seat theatre in Symphony Space on the Upper West Side. Among other performers, Julia Murney (Off-Broadway's The Wild Party) will sing a new string arrangement of Lippa's "I'm Not Waiting," plus two Steve Marzullo settings of poems by Dorothy Parker.
Performers in the concert are Kate Baldwin, Stephen Bogardus, Liz Callaway, George Dvorsky, Andrew Lippa, Rebecca Luker and Daniel Reichard.
Audiences will "discover the performing side of several of the composers, who will make guest appearances throughout the evening." The show is presented acoustically, without microphones, and features a seven piece ensemble including Steve Benson (guitar), Alison Gordon (viola), Ed Matthew (clarinet), Dick Sarpola (bass), Clay Ruede (cello), along with Marco Paguia and David Geist at the piano.

The evening is hosted by Danny Burstein. New Voices Collective is generally focused on composers who are unsung, or known composers who are testing new colors — cabaret songwriter David Friedman's art songs were shared in a previous concert, for example.
Tickets are $25 ($22 for Symphony Space members). For information, call (212) 864-5400 or visit www.symphonyspace.org.
Symphony Space is located at 2537 Broadway at 95th Street.
