Mark Brokaw, the hotshot Broadway and Off-Broadway director who has piloted new works by Craig Lucas, Kenneth Lonergan, Paula Vogel and Douglas Carter Beane, will be at the helm. His past work on solo shows includes Lisa Kron's 2.5 Minute Ride.
God Said, Ha! addressed Sweeney's battle with cancer. The actress spent four seasons on "Saturday Night Live," where she was best known for creating the sexually ambiguous Pat character.
