According to press materials, the play is a comedy that looks at power games and privacy in the media and beyond. The title NSFW is an acronym for "Not Safe For Work: online material which the viewer may not want to be seen accessing in a public or formal setting such as at work."

Barratt, who will play the editor of lad's mag Doghouse, was last seen on the London stage in The Government Inspector at the Young Vic. He is best known for playing Howard Moon in the cult show "The Mighty Boosh," which he co-wrote with Noel Fielding. After starting at the Edinburgh Fringe in 1998, the show went on to win a Perrier Best Newcomer Award, went on to a hit Radio 4 series, winning the Douglas Adams Award for Innovative Comedy Writing, a BBC TV show and live show. It won four NME Awards; three for Best TV Show and one for Best Live Show. Other TV includes "Nathan Barley," "Penelope Princess of Pets" and "Garth Marenghi's Dark Place."

Dee, who plays Miranda, editor of women's magazine Electra, has appeared in the West End in everything from Gershwin and Jerry Herman musicals (My One and Only, Mack and Mabel) to Pinter (Betrayal) and Ayckbourn (Woman in Mind, Comic Potential). Recent credits include Private Lives at Nottingham Playhouse, All's Well that Ends Well at Shakespeare's Globe and The King and I at the Curve Leicester.

Doyle, who plays plays Mr. Bradshaw, last appeared at the Royal Court in Spur of the Moment. Previous credits include The White Guard at the National and extensive appearances at the RSC. He was seen in ITV's "Downton Abbey" as Joseph Moleley.

Dhawan, who plays new recruit to Doghouse magazine Sam, last appeared at the Royal Court in Free Outgoing. Onstage, he has appeared at the National Theatre in England People Very Nice, In the Moment and The History Boys. Lloyd-Hughes, who plays Doghouse journalist Rupert, was most recently seen in Posh at the Duke of York's. Other stage credits include The Changeling at the Young Vic, Tiger Country at Hampstead, Rope at  the Almeida and Punk Rock  at the Lyric Hammersmith. On television, he plays bully John Donavan in "The Inbetweeners."

Smith, who plays Doghouse journalist Charlotte, last appeared at the Royal Court in The Author.
