Those scheduled to take part in the evening include cabaret legend Julie Wilson, original Hairspray star Jackie Hoffman, Swing! Tony nominee Ann Hampton Callaway as well as cabaret favorites Spencer Day, Novella Nelson, Baby Jane Dexter and Paula West. Show time is 7 PM. Writer James Gavin will also be on hand for the one-night-only event celebrating his book's re-release. "Intimate Nights," which was originally published in 1991, offers an 80-year journey through the world of cabaret and the legends it spawned, including Barbra Streisand, Bette Midler, Woody Allen and Eartha Kitt. The tome won ASCAP's Deems Taylor Award. Gavin has also written for The New York Times, Time Out and Vanity Fair.
