News Justin Vivian Bond, Telly Leung and Our Lady J Set for A Night of A Thousand Genders The Gender & Family Project will present its first annual benefit, A Night of A Thousand Genders, Dec. 2 at Joe's Pub.

The one-night-only cabaret performance, which begins at 6:30 PM, will celebrate "the beauty and resilience of gender nonconforming youth and their families."

Oscar winner Olympia Dukakis will host the evening, which will feature performances by Tony nominee Justin Vivian Bond, Telly Leung and Our Lady J with musical direction by Emmy-winning composer Lance Horne. Other performers will be announced in the coming weeks.

The evening will begin at 6:30 PM with cocktails followed by the performance at 7:30 PM.

Proceeds will support The Gender and Family Project’s mission to "raise awareness about the critical need for more services supporting families of gender nonconforming youth, at home and in schools, as well as expanding its staff and scope of these services in the greater New York area and beyond."

Individual tickets start at $45 and include a pre-cabaret cocktail and performance seating; $150 and $250 tickets include priority performance seating; tables are also available at $1,000. Tickets can be purchased at www.nightofathousandgenders.com. Joe’s Pub is located at 425 Lafayette Street.
