News Justin Vivian Bond's Silver Wells Returns to 54 Below July 20-21 Justin Vivian Bond, who has been seen on Broadway in Kiki & Herb: Alive on Broadway, offers Silver Wells July 20-21 at the new Manhattan nightspot 54 Below.

Bond's show, which was seen at 54 Below earlier this month, has extended due to popular demand. The concerts will begin at 11 PM.

Silver Wells, according to 54 Below notes, is "an evening based on the newly released album of the same name, covering songs made famous by Ronee Blakley, Kate Bush, Leonard Cohen, Tracy Chapman, Joni Mitchell, Mark Eitzel and Brecht & Weill, among others."

Silver Wells is inspired by — and takes its name from — Joan Didion's 1970 novel "Play It As It Lays." In the show, Bond chooses a group of songs that covers the book's themes of nihilism, postmodernist identities, loss and the retrieval of memory.

54 Below is located at 254 West 54th Street. There will be a $20-30 cover plus a $25 food and beverage minimum. For more information and tickets, visit 54Below.com.
