News Karen Mason, KT Sullivan, Eric Michael Gillett, Karen Akers, Jonathan Rayson and More Set for Sammy Cahn Celebration Over 30 singers from the worlds of cabaret and theatre will take part in a celebration of the 100th anniversary of the birth of four-time Academy Award-winning lyricist Sammy Cahn June 18 at The Iridium in Manhattan.

Produced by writer Rob Lester, the evening, which consists of two different shows (8 and 10 PM), will benefit Cabaret Scenes Magazine; associate producer is Stevie Phillips.

Performers are scheduled to include Karen Mason, KT Sullivan, Eric Michael Gillett, Karen Akers, Jonathan Rayson, Stacy Sullivan, Lennie Watts, T. Oliver Reid, Steven Brinberg as Simply Barbra, Suzanne Carrico, Mary Foster Conklin, Baby Jane Dexter, Karen Kohler, Sidney Myer, Karen Oberlin, Ricky Ritzel, Marta Sanders, Rick Skye, Jennifer Sheehan, Deb Berman, Eric Yves Garcia, Susan Winter, Alison Nusbaum, musical comedy duo The Rescignos, Devin Bing, Tony Ponella, Nathan Hajdu, Frank Dain, Lynn DiMenna, Scott Barbarino, The Copa Boys and Carol Fredette.

MAC Award winner Bill Zeffiro, who once played for the late Cahn, is musical director; Zeffiro will be joined by his trio. Ricky Ritzel will also accompany singers, and Don Rebic will be guest pianist for Akers and Carrico.

Sammy Cahn's Broadway credits include High Button Shoes, Walking Happy, Skyscraper and his own revue Words & Music. Among his many hits are “Come Fly with Me,” “Teach Me Tonight,” “All the Way,” “Call Me Irresponsible” and “Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!”
