News Karl, Heller, Wilson and More to Be Part of Easy City and Top of the World Readings A double bill of two short musicals created in the BMI-Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop will be presented at the McGinn/Cazale Theatre Oct. 30.

The Musicals Tonight!/Musical Mondays Theatre Lab readings will begin at 6:15 PM. Both Easy City and Top of the World examine "the ever-changing fiber of the American Experience."

Easy City, which is based on Katrina survivor interviews that were originally published in the Minneapolis/St. Paul City Pages, features book and lyrics by Craig Fols and music by Fred Thaler. The cast for the reading will include Rent's Antonique Smith and Mark Ford, Hairspray's Tommar Wilson, The 60's Project's Andi Whaley and Altar Boyz' Andy Karl.

A Class Act's Adam Heller, How to Go Out on a Date in Queens creator Theresa Finamore and Mamma Mia!'s Ryan Binder will star in the second offering, Top of the World. This new musical features music by Aron Accurso, lyrics by Steve Routman and a book by both men.

The reading series will continue Nov. 13 with Matthew Hardy and Randy Klein's The Thing About Joe.
