Directed by Obie and Lucille Lortel winner Evan Yionoulis, the cast will feature two-time Tony Award nominee Kate Burton in the title role with Obie winner Reed Birney as Blair, Obie winner Euan Morton as Ridley, Jake Weber as Kerner, Victor Williams as Wates, Nick Carter as Cotton, Adam Langdon as Joe, Sathya Sridharan as Maggs and David Corenswet as Merryweather with WTF acting apprentices Brady Dowad as Russian and Christian Schneider as Mac with Phillip Esposito and Stephan Amenta in the ensemble.
"Treacherous twins and double (or triple?) agents abound in Hapgood, a twisty-turny look at the unlikely nexus of international espionage and quantum physics," according to Williamstown. "Simultaneously channeling John le Carré, Albert Einstein, and Mel Brooks, Stoppard’s Cold-War thriller boasts equal shares of brains, guts, and sly humor."
The creative team includes Christopher Barreca and Christopher Heilman (scenic design), Deb Hecht (dialect coach), Donald Holder (lighting design), Michael Krass (costume design), Alex Neumann (sound design) and Mike Yionoulis (original music). The production stage manager is Liza Vest.
